Job Description
3. Managing the Supply Chain to ensure flow of materials and availability
4. Manage delivery schedules to ensure consolidation as much as possible to reduce transport costs
5. Ensure that all purchases adhere to company policies and budget constraints.
6. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolving any issues that may arise.
7. Keeping accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.
8. Collaborating with other departments to forecast future supply needs.
9. Participating in the development of procurement strategies and plans
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
10. Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
11. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
12. A strong understanding of supply chain and procurement processes.
13. Proficiency in relevant software, such as Microsoft Office and procurement applications.
14. The ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
