Job summary
We are looking for experienced administrators to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team at Crawley Hospital, Piper ward Intermediate Care Unit.
We have a post for 15 hours per week, days to be agreed, working alongside a full-time ward administrator.

Main duties of the job
* The main duties of the role are to provide administration and clerical support on the units, ensuring that efficient communication systems are adhered to. Provide solutions for routine queries/concerns about services and decide what to refer to senior staff.
* To provide essential cover for other administrative staff as requested by the ward manager.
* Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, working effectively as part of a healthcare team with patients, visitors, relatives, and medical, nursing, and therapy staff.
* Use own initiative and prioritize own work. Arrange team meetings as requested. Be the point of contact as SystmOne champion to disseminate new system functions and ensure staff are aware of changes.
* Support the Ward Manager in recruitment and staff retention processes, including NHS Jobs / TRAC.
* Assist in reviewing office/administrative procedures and liaise with senior nursing staff regarding staffing requirements.
