We are continuing to grow and are now looking for an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team.
This is an office-based role located at our Newtown, Birmingham office.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Support & Sales Administration
* Handle incoming calls, emails, and messages from customers
* Provide product information on butcher equipment, machinery, tools, and consumables
* Prepare and send quotations, invoices, and order confirmations
* Follow up on customer enquiries and outstanding quotes
* Maintain customer records and update CRM systems
Order Processing & Logistics Coordination
* Process sales orders accurately and efficiently
* Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure smooth dispatch
* Track orders and provide customers with delivery updates
* Assist with managing stock levels and product availability
Sales Team Support
* Assist sales managers with daily tasks and account follow-ups
* Help prepare sales reports, pricing lists, and promotional materials
* Support marketing by sharing product info and customer insights
* Maintain a tidy and organised office environment
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in sales support, office administration, or customer service
* Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
* Good computer skills (emails, CRM systems, Excel/Word)
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload
* Strong attention to detail and professional attitude
* Knowledge of butcher equipment or food industry tools is a bonus, but full training will be provided
