Leading international law firm are looking to hire an additional Senior Associate to join their high-ranking Corporate team based in Edinburgh.
Role Profile:
* Working as part of a highly successful national team, and working closely with international colleagues in other offices, this firm offers high quality Corporate work and the chance to work on domestic matters, cross-border and international transactions.
Responsibilities:
* Drafting principal documents for Mergers and Acquisitions, Private Equity and Venture Capital investments and Equity Capital Markets transactions.
* Providing efficient professional support to partners.
* Developing professional client relationships.
* Supporting the wider team in developing business and raising the profile of the firm. Involvement in marketing events.
* Managing and supervising the work of others including junior associates and trainees.
Candidate Requirements:
* Strong background in general corporate law with 4+ PQE. The firm are interesting in speaking to Corporate Lawyers at both Associate and Senior Associate level.
* Excellent drafting skills, be able lead and project manage transactional work and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice.
* Good interpersonal and consultancy skills.
