As the Wholesale / Scheme Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Underwriting team and will manage the relationships with our capacity providers.

So, what does the role involve ?

Responsible for the day-to-day management of your team and supporting your Branch Director.
Ensuring that the Underwriters and Account Handlers work within the confines of the Delegated Authorities that are in place.
Supervising the team and ensuring that they work with the confines of the company processes and procedures.
Ensuring that the department achieve it's growth targets.
Monitoring Loss ratios with insurers.
Forming relationships with a panel of approved brokers.
Forming relationships with our capacity providers.
File audits and audit feedback.
Facilitating external audits where necessary.
Responsible for the setting of personal training plans and carrying out appraisals for your direct reports.
Monitoring workflow.
Help with FNOL to Insurers and some claims administration.
Adhoc reports.
System and Product Development involving Liaison with External Software Consultant.
Managing Bordereaux returns and dealing with queries.

Product Knowledge

Public/ Products Liability and Employers' Liability.
Professional Indemnity.
Contractors All Risks.

Skills Required

Supervisory skills.
Acturis.
Excel and Word.
Relationship Building.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Effective Interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
