Matrix Payroll Matrix Payroll (registered as Client Directs Limited) is an established payroll company which has experienced consistent growth over a number of years. It is part of the Matrix Group and is specifically placed to support Matrix clients’ end-to-end temporary recruitment needs, by facilitating the on-boarding and payroll provision for direct/referred temporary workers. As a result of this recent expansion, Matrix are seeking to recruit an additional Payroll Onboarding Coordinator to work within the Matrix Payroll team. This person will join the small team to help with the increased workload and be able to offer support to the Senior Payroll Coordinator as they lead the team through the next phase of expansion. THE ROLE You will be required to manage the busy day to day communications received by Matrix Payroll from both clients and workers on our payroll. You will manage emails and telephone calls and deal with queries relating to pay, holidays, statutory entitlements and contractual matters. You will ensure all workers are legally compliant by checking (amongst other things) references, eligibility to work, criminal convictions declarations, DBS checks and Right to Work checks. Other significant duties will include; creating candidates and placements on our in-house Matrix system, ensuring all candidates are set up in a timely manner to guarantee they are paid the correct rates on time. You will report to the Senior Payroll Coordinator on a day-to-day basis, with your role ultimately sitting within the Finance department which is led by the Head of Finance. In addition, you will need to work with other colleagues to ensure all communications are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner.
