Engineering Manager – Enstone
Up to £410 per day (Inside IR35)
Monday to Friday (Days)
This is a hands-on Engineering Manager role, ideal for someone who enjoys leading from the front. While you’ll be responsible for managing a small team of engineers, you’ll also be expected to remain technically involved — supporting breakdowns, overseeing maintenance activity, and getting on the tools when required.
Key points:
* Lead a team of engineers
* Oversee maintenance, reliability, and statutory inspections
* Very hands-on role — not office based
* Day-to-day decision-making on site, providing technical guidance, and stepping in to support complex or urgent engineering issues.
* Motivating &; engaging the team
Requirements:
* Mechanical or electrical engineering background
* CI &; Lean Engineering Experience
* H&;S Knowledge
* Responsible for maintenance, reliability, and statutory compliance
* Proven experience managing engineers in manufacturing / FMCG / heavy industry
* Strong H&;S and compliance knowledge
* NVQ (or equivalent) in Engineering; leadership qualification desirable
