Warwickshire is recruiting for a Senior Residential Care Practitioner at our two-bedded therapeutic children’s home in Leamington Spa, supporting two young people aged 8–17. This small, nurturing environment is designed to provide intensive, tailored care, build strong relationships, and deliver therapeutic interventions that help children heal, grow, and thrive.

About the role
1. Lead and support day-to-day care and therapeutic routines within the home.
2. Create a safe, stable, and child-centred environment.
3. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on therapeutic principles.
4. Act as a Corporate Parent, working with families, carers, and partner agencies.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain accurate records.
6. Always promote anti-discriminatory and anti-racist practices.
7. Work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

8. Experienced practitioners with knowledge of trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches.
9. Individuals who can create a warm, welcoming home where children feel valued and respected.
10. Reflective, resilient people committed to continuous learning.
11. Strong belief in equality and the rights of children to be treated with dignity.
12. Ability to build meaningful relationships and respond effectively to challenges.
