A consumer tech and media business is looking for an Interim Commercial Counsel to join its in-house legal team.
This role will support a lean and high-performing legal function during a particularly busy period. The legal team plays a central role in supporting product launches, commercial initiatives, and wider business operations across multiple revenue streams.
The Role
You will work closely with the General Counsel and Head of Legal and support the wider business across a broad range of commercial matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Advising on commercial contracts across the business
* Supporting marketing, advertising and media agreements
* Working closely with product teams on new product rollouts
* Providing legal support across a range of commercial initiatives
* Enabling senior team members to focus on corporate workstreams
* Data protection experience
* Exposure to FCA/compliance desirable

About You
* 6+ PQE (guideline only)
* Previous in-house experience, ideally within tech, media, digital or consumer businesses
* Strong experience advising on commercial contracts, marketing and product-related work
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scale-up environment
* Low ego, hands-on and proactive approach
