Security Operative
Location: Lifescan Scotland - Inverness
Working hours: 4 on 4 off night shift - 42.11 Hours per Week
Contract: Permanent - Full Time
Salary: £13.80 per hour

Your new role
What you’ll do:
* Carry out duties requested by the client in line with Standard Operating Procedures
* Monitor CCTV cameras, ensuring safety and security of buildings, valuables, and people
* Operate the security access computer system for swipe access and record abnormalities
* Patrol the perimeter, provide a visible deterrent, and report incidents or risks
* Monitor and document vehicle movements entering and leaving the site
* Perform front desk reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors
* Record and report incidents and daily occurrences
* Operate handheld radios with clear communication
* Assist with work permits for contractors
* Issue ID badges and passes to visitors
What you'll need:
* Awareness of Health & Safety issues and safe working methods
* Knowledge of COSHH regulations
* Valid Front-Line SIA Licence
* Successful completion of reference checks, financial checks, and ID verification
The successful candidate will require a DBS/Disclosure Check before starting in the role.
