Gloucestershire Managed Services (GMS) is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide confidential, executive-level support to the Chair, Managing Director and Directors.
This is a highly trusted, complex role at the centre of the organisation. You’ll manage senior diaries and meetings, prepare board and governance documentation, handle sensitive communications, and coordinate executive administration across the wider leadership team, while helping to shape and develop a high-performing Executive Admin function.
️ What you’ll be doing
* Executive-level support to the Chair and Managing Director
* Managing complex diaries, meetings, travel and briefing materials
* Preparing and transcribing Board, SLT and SMT minutes and papers
* Coordinating governance processes, trackers and follow-ups
* Overseeing sensitive executive correspondence
* Supervising and developing the Executive Admin Team
* Driving consistent, high-quality admin systems across GMS
About you
* Proven experience supporting senior leaders at executive level
* Exceptional organisational, communication and minute-taking skills
* Absolute discretion and confidence handling sensitive matters
* Strong Microsoft Office / O365 skills
* Proactive, flexible and hands-on leadership style
* Sound understanding of governance, confidentiality and data security
Experience in the NHS or public sector is a plus — but not essential.
