Due to a change in market conditions, theyre enjoying a significant period of growth, particularly within their field-based operation. They are well-established in their sector, with a strong reputation for the highest quality workmanship, excellent customer service and innovation.
As part of their ongoing investment in the business and growth, they now seek to appoint an account / project manager, reporting directly to the head of sales, to ensure all works are delivered to the highest technical, commercial and safety requirements through collaboration with department heads and others.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the safe, timely and commercially sound delivery of multiple concurrent contracts
Support the Head of Sales with departmental strategy, pipeline coordination for contracts being managed
Support the department leads with advising of contractual improvement requirements driving a continuous improvement culture
Resource Coordination with the necessary internal stakeholders
Programme Management
Monitor progress, budgets, variations and commercial performance
Drive quality assurance, site safety, and environmental compliance
Lead client and stakeholder communications, maintaining strong relationships with principal contractors, consultants and direct client
About You
Proven experience in an Accounts Manager or Project Manager role ideally within engineering / rail
Excellent team leadership and project coordination skills
Sound commercial awareness and ability to manage multiple workstreams under pressure
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and reporting capabilities
Eye for detail
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
