Mactuff Events deliver a range of challenge, run and fitness based events across the UK since 2014. Launching a new event series for 2026 we have a full time hybrid role which combines sales, organisation and planning together with assisting in the physical execution of our events.

This role is perfect for a confident, results orientated individual who is an excellent all round communicator, is happy to get their hands dirty, and thrives on challenges. Please read carefully to ensure you understand the requirements for the role before applying, noting that training will be available for the suitable candidate.

Role and Responsibilities

* Assisting with the execution of events across the UK, including physically assisting with set up and break down onsite (which often requires considerable exertion), oversight of event staff and effective liaison with venues and event suppliers onsite. You will be required to work remotely at events for 25-30 weekends per year (mostly between April and October) and a number of weeks through the year. Our high demand working periods are not just offset with time off in lieu, but the opportunity to take periods of extended leave of up to a month during our 'off season' times.
* Involvement in pre event planning, promotion, sales and marketing to a combination of B2B, B2C and Charity clients.
* Assisting in the coordination of events to ensure their successful delivery.
* Assisting with customer research
* Assist with further ad-hoc administrative and operational tasks.

WHAT WE WANT

* Location: Preferably you live within a 1 hour commute to central Grantham, Lincolnshire where our office base is. During the probationary period you will be required to work from the Grantham office for 3-5 days per week. Once probation is completed then work from home will be available, with office days required for 1-2 days per week.
* Willingness to travel: Readiness to travel domestically and spend considerable time away from home during our busy event season April – October (90%+ of weekends would be at least 1 or 2 nights away from home). Must have a full UK driving license.
* Previous experience: This role requires no specific event experience, and you will be onboarded and trained by the Senior Director of the business. Previous sales experience is desirable, as is working in a results focused environment.
* Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions meticulously.
* Communication skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills, coupled with the capacity to work effectively both independently and within a team.
* Adaptability and Dependability: Demonstrated willingness to learn, highly adaptable to changes. You are someone that doesn't shirk a problem, you embrace solving it.
* Time Management: Strong time management skills, showcasing the ability to prioritise and complete tasks ahead of deadlines.
* Computer & Social Media Literate: Data, Social Media and electronic comms are an important aspect of our business.
* Initiative: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative with new challenges.
* To enjoy what you do: Someone that has an interest in events, fitness and/or sport.

WHAT WE OFFER

* Starting basic salary of £25,000-£30,000 per annum plus a commission & bonus package with on target earnings of £40,000-£45,000 in the first year.
* 25 days holiday (20 days annual leave, plus 5 days over Christmas), increasing to 29 days after one year's service.
