we’re looking for an energetic, engaging, and hands-on Hospitality Service Trainer – Openings & Onboarding to be the first spark of
Chestnut culture for every new team.
You’ll
lead training during new pub openings and acquisitions, ensuring every team
member starts with the skills, confidence, and mindset to deliver brilliant
hospitality from day one. You’ll also coach and support site-based trainers,
helping to build a strong, consistent training culture across our growing
collection of pubs, inns, and Big Houses.
What
You’ll Be Doing
* Lead induction and early-stage training for new
openings and acquisitions.
* Deliver engaging, practical training sessions that
bring service standards to life.
* Support teams to confidently use FLOW, follow
Chestnut service standards, and build great daily habits.
* Provide hospitality refreshers and service training
across existing pubs as needed.
* Coach and develop site-based trainers to deliver
consistent onboarding and service coaching.
* Work closely with General Managers and the People Team
to tailor training to each site’s needs.
About
You
* Passionate about hospitality and developing people.
* Proven experience delivering engaging, hands-on
training.
* Strong knowledge of service standards and hospitality
best practice.
* Organised, adaptable, and comfortable travelling across
the Chestnut estate.
* Experience with FLOW or similar learning
platforms (desirable).
* Experience opening new sites or in fast-growth
hospitality environments (desirable).
