Job Opportunity: Assistant Conveyancer at a Leading Housebuilders Organisation
This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity to join a prominent housebuilders firm, specifically the York branch, as an Assistant Conveyancer. You will work alongside an expert team of conveyancers specializing in new build properties.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
1. Preparing engrossments
2. Handling Stamp Duty Land Tax processes
3. Managing Land Registry registrations
4. Drafting exchange and completion letters
5. Conducting ID and AML checks
Initially, you will not manage your own caseload but will assist other conveyancers with their workload and provide cover during their annual or sick leave.
This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The team values contributions from each member, and your efforts will be recognized and rewarded. Prior experience in a residential property team is essential; experience with new build or plot sales is advantageous but not mandatory.
