Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
1. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
2. NVQ3, BTEC in pharmaceutical science diploma or equivalent level
3. Qualified accuracy checking pharmacy technician
4. Qualified medicines management pharmacy technician
Desirable criteria
5. Member of the Association of Pharmacy Technicians (UK)
6. HEE Practice Supervisor Accreditation or equivalent
7. HEE Educational Supervisor Accreditation or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria
8. Post qualification hospital experience as a Band 5 (AFC) or equivalent
9. Previous experience of delivering induction and competency based training
10. Evidence of managing and developing staff groups
Desirable criteria
11. Demonstrate experience in developing standard operating procedures
12. Evidence of service development
13. HR experience - day to day supervision and management of staff
14. Knowledge of Level 2 and Level 3 training provision
Technical skills competencies
Essential criteria
15. Good organisational abilities and able to prioritise work
16. Time management skills, ability to meet deadlines
17. Ability to work under pressure, remains calm
18. Ability to provide advice and guidance requiring analysis and interpretation

Knowledge

25. Good knowledge of current pharmacy practice
