Our client is based in Stoke on Trent, and they have a new role for a Production Scheduler to work in their existing team. This role will offer development, as you will be taking over from someone who will be retiring. This role will be working with a great team of people, and will be a busy role in that it's dealing with lots of different departments. So, if you have a great skill for multitasking, like spinning lots of plates, dealing with lots of people, and managing your time effectively, this role would be for you
Job Description for the Production Scheduler role:
To plan and update the system for production schedules and liaise with the different departments
Supporting the production team as and when required
Chasing different departments to help process the order through the system
Entering details into SAP
To prioritise workloads for the customers' needs
Attending meetings to update production on the workloads and possible issues
To update production schedules
Update KPI measurements for machinery, equipment, and people
To provide excellent customer service to customers and also internal teams, as well as dispatch companies For the Production Scheduler role, it would be good to see candidates with the following skills and experience:
Production planning/scheduling experience is required
Experience of using an ERP system – SAP ideally
5 GCSEs at C or above, including Maths and English
Strong communication skills
Team player
Someone who can work using their own initiative
Works within a multi-disciplined role
Strong IT skills Hours: Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 2:00 pm or 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, Friday – 7:30 am – 3:00 pm
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 Per Annum
