Harrington Starr are supporting a global financial services organisation to help them hire a Security Operations Manager to manage a hybrid in‑house/ outsourced function. The role will involve providing both technical and strategic leadership.
Key Accountabilities
* Working with the CISO to help evolve the Sec Ops function
* Management of an in‑house team and the outsourced provider
* Acting as the central POC\ escalation point for all major cyber incidents
* Collaborating with other cyber functions – GRC, architecture and engineering
* Working with stakeholders across the business – technical and non‑technical
* Vendor management – including staying abreast of the latest tools
* A good knowledge of the current and evolving threat landscape
Qualifications
* A good background in Security Operations\ Incident Response in a managerial or lead role
* Strong technical knowledge
* Demonstrable stakeholder management experience
* A technical background in infrastructure, security engineering or penetration testing preferred
