Main duties of the job
As a Care Assistant at Avery Healthcare, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of personal care and contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. About the role: Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care and contribute fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
* Assisting residents in all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring optimum independence, dignity, and respect.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, and signs of infections; escalating any identified risks in a timely manner.
* Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting each person’s dignity and individuality.
* Practising safe systems of work across the range of tasks.

Experience is not required; we offer a thorough induction and training programme to build confidence within the role.
