Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Storesperson to join our team. This is a varied role combining traditional stores duties with vehicle delivery across the UK and management of our online eBay sales platform. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, comfortable working independently or as part of a team, and committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Stores Operations
* Receive, unload, and check incoming deliveries.
* Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
* Accurately record and manage stock using our inventory system.
* Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing parts and products for dispatch.
* Conduct regular stock counts and maintain a clean, organized store area.
* Liaise with internal departments to fulfil stock and parts requirements.
Logistics and Driving
* Drive company vehicles to deliver and collect funeral cars and related products across the UK.
* Carry out pre-drive checks and maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing the business on the road.
* Ensure timely and safe delivery of vehicles to clients or other company locations.
* Keep accurate journey and mileage records.
eBay Shop Management
* Manage listings for parts and vehicles on our eBay store.
* Photograph and describe items accurately, ensuring competitive and appealing listings.
* Process orders and coordinate packaging and shipping.
* Respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
* Monitor stock levels and remove or update listings as necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Prior experience in a stores, logistics, or driving role preferred.
* Confidence and professionalism when dealing with customers and external contacts.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email and spreadsheets.
* Experience using eBay or similar platforms for sales is desirable.
* Forklift licence (or willingness to train) is an advantage.
* Physically capable of lifting and moving stock and equipment.

* Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7.30am - 4.30pm and Friday 7.30am, pm
* Licence/Certification: Driving Licence (required), CPCS (preferred)
