We are working with a generic special school which delivers provision for a wide range of needs. We have a particular focus on pupils who have ASC, ADHD and Attachment Disorder. We are looking to expand out team in September and take on 4 full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to work with our KS3, KS4 & KS5 pupils. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, facilitating access to the curriculum and promoting independent learning. Implement individualised strategies to support students with ASC, ADHD, MLD, and SEMH needs, in collaboration with the class teacher and SENCo. Assist in the development and delivery of personalized education plans (IEPs) and contribute to the monitoring of student progress. Support students during social interactions, encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation. We are looking for candidates who: Have experience working with students with special educational needs, particularly those with ASC, ADHD, MLD, and SEMH. Possess a patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to supporting young people. Are committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment and promoting the well-being of all students. Hold relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or have equivalent experience.
