We are seeking a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a full-time, term-time-only role, ideal for someone looking to work in a dynamic and rewarding secondary school environment. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential to be permanent for the right candidate.
Your New Job
1. Provide classroom support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEND).
2. Deliver targeted interventions and 1:1 support to help students achieve their learning goals.
3. Assist with lesson preparation and resource development.
4. Support students’ emotional wellbeing and behaviour management.
5. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure inclusive education.
What You'll Need to Succeed
6. A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
7. Experience working in a secondary school or with young people aged 11–16.
8. A strong understanding of safeguarding, SEND, and inclusive learning strategies.
9. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills.
10. A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to supporting students.
11. You must also hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check registered on the update service.
