A supportive secondary school in Huddersfield is seeking a Geography ECT to join its established Humanities faculty.
Role Overview
The Geography ECT will teach KS3 and KS4, working with clear schemes of work, shared resources and strong departmental guidance. The role offers an excellent balance of classroom responsibility and developmental support.
The School
This 11–18 school educates around 1,300 pupils and is respected for its strong pastoral systems and consistent routines. Geography is a popular subject, supported by digital mapping tools and structured fieldwork opportunities.
ECTs are supported through a formal induction programme including weekly mentoring, observation feedback and reduced teaching load. Staff describe the culture as inclusive, calm and collaborative.
