Horizon Teachers are happy to be working closely with a primary school in the borough of Lambeth in search for a full time Key Stage 1 teaching assistant, working 1:1 and amongst the general classroom, to join their school starting September 2025. As an SEN teaching assistant, you will be expected to do the following: Working 1:1 with the dedicated student and give them the time and support they need to learn amongst their peers. Assisting the child in their educational and social development including creativity and play-based learning to encourage the development of their skills. Delivering tailored teaching activities to individual pupils or small groups of pupils Provide support inside and outside of the classroom, so they can fully engage in a wide range of activities. Collaborating with teachers, parents, and external support services to address students' individual needs effectively What we're looking for from you: Experience supporting children in or outside of the primary sector The eagerness and passion to work alongside children and support their development in school.
