Then this could be for you We're working with a leading provider to recruit a Registered Manager for a well-established 4-bed children's residential home in Sudbury, Suffolk, supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs (EBD). The home is already off to a great start with a strong staff team, stable placements, and a recent Good Ofsted across the board. You'll be stepping into a role where the groundwork is done, and your leadership will take the home to the next level. This is a great fit for a confident, child-centred manager with a passion for quality, safeguarding, and outcomes or a strong Deputy who's been leading services and is ready to step up officially. Up to £50,000 basic salary £5,000 Welcome Bonus Annual performance bonus (up to £10,500) 32 Days Annual Leave (including bank holidays) Fully funded DBS checks and renewals Access to employee wellbeing and reward schemes Ongoing training & leadership development Supportive senior leadership and clinical networks Clear progression path within a large and growing organisation About the Home: Located in Sudbury, Suffolk 4-bed EBD children's home, currently with 2 young people in placement Recently inspected, rated 'Good' across the board by Ofsted Staff team already in place and working well Stable, nurturing home environment with good routines and consistency Well-supported by regional leadership and compliance teams About The Role: Lead the overall management and performance of the home Ensure children receive the highest quality care and support Maintain full compliance with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards Manage budgets, staff rotas, and performance across the team Deliver outstanding leadership and embed a positive team culture Develop placement stability and promote young people's independence and wellbeing Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead and key point of contact for professionals Drive continuous improvement and ensure all young people's voices are heard Be flexible with shifts and on-call duties, as required Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in children's residential care at senior level Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent) Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management completed or in progress Confident leader with a hands-on approach and strong safeguarding knowledge Experience working in EBD settings and leading successful inspections Budget and financial oversight experience (preferred) Full UK driving licence Flexible to manage on-call and leadership responsibilities Interested?
