We are looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator to support the development and management of projects and action plans focused on delivering our inclusion commitments and demonstrating impact. This role will work closely with the D&I Manager and report to the Director for D&I. The team collaborates with the broader business and People team across our UK and Ireland operations, as well as external partners.
This is a 12-month FTC contract.
Your mission
You will be responsible for providing project and administrative support, working in partnership with the business to coordinate and manage interventions that ensure BAM's UK&I D&I strategy is successful, fostering an environment that benefits our people, business, and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will join a small, existing team and be encouraged to bring their ideas and experience to the table.
* Passionate about delivering authentic change and demonstrating role modelling behaviors to influence and engage a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

* Project Management and Coordination: Ability to manage and support the coordination of education programs, ensuring full uptake, return on investment, and success measurement. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to align and guide existing Inclusion Networks and local steering groups for impactful activities.
* Communication and Writing: Proficiency in supporting written submissions for tenders and awards, contributing to collateral. Strong verbal communication skills to liaise with external stakeholders. Collaborate with our Communication Teams to develop consistent internal and external D&I communications, including strategic communication plans throughout the year.
* Stakeholder Management: Ability to build and maintain impactful partnerships with external groups and internal stakeholders.
* Analytical Skills: Strong ability to measure the impact of D&I activities, review internal trends for informed decision-making, and identify internal gaps to develop training matrices.
Your experience and profile
* Experience in HR or a D&I-related field.
* Proven experience managing projects through to completion and evaluation.
* Self-motivated with the ability to use initiative.
* Personal commitment to ongoing development and participation in subject field events, demonstrating allyship.
* Ability to work effectively in a remote team, recognizing individual strengths and styles.
* High integrity, with passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role.
