Job Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual for the position of Senior / Principal Marine Mammal Consultant. The marine mammal team provides advisory services across various projects, delivering Environmental Impact Assessments, Habitats Regulations Assessments, European Protected Species licenses, and developing mitigation plans such as Marine Mammal Mitigation Plans and Site Integrity Plans.
This role might be right for you if you have:
* Extensive experience in marine mammal Environmental Impact Assessments, Habitats Regulations Assessments, European Protected Species Assessments, and the development of Marine Mammal Mitigation, Monitoring, and Site Integrity Plans;
* Experience with the examination process for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, including examination hearings;
* Experience developing and advising on marine mammal surveys and underwater noise modeling, data analysis, and assessment;
* Strong knowledge of UK and EC wildlife legislation, planning policies, and licensing regulations;
* Experience advising clients and liaising with stakeholders in marine mammal assessments during pre- and post-consent phases; and
* Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
