Service Development Officer
Duration: Initially 3 months
Hours: 37 hours a week
Rate: £28 umbrella an hour
Southampton City Council are currently looking for a Service Development Officer to join their Integrated Commissioning Unit.
As a Service Development Officer you will:
1. Assist in the development of a clear integrated approach to commissioning with specific responsibility for service re-design and performance in identified areas
2. Support the Integrated Commissioning Unit in service planning and strategy
3. Undertake needs assessment to inform planning and development
4. Undertake service reviews and develop option appraisals to support commissioning decisions
5. Develop detailed service specifications
Requirements
6. Degree or equivalent experience
7. Experience of managing projects and achieving outcomes in timescales and complex settings
8. Experience of leading service development change
9. Experience of producing strategies and/or polices
10. Experience of managing risks and reporting
11. Understanding of Health & Social Care system including Primary Care
