Senior Fees Modelling Lead (Grade 7)
Location: Canary Wharf, London (10 South Colonnade)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £60,778 (plus additional accountancy allowance of up to £5,000)
The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) is seeking a Senior Fees Modelling Lead to manage their statutory fees framework (c. £175m annual income) and deliver the end-to-end annual fees uplift cycle on time and with confidence.
Sitting in Finance and reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, you’ll design, maintain and document robust, auditable cost-recovery and forecasting models that align with Managing Public Money and public-sector accounting requirements. You’ll map cost drivers, explain over/under-recovery and give senior leaders clear options that balance affordability, value for money and innovation. Acting as project lead for implementation, you’ll coordinate digital and operational “go-live” activity, ensuring systems, data and communications are ready for change.
You’ll partner widely with the Finance SMT, fee policy, legal, operational SMEs and IT, as well as DHSC, HMT, the Cabinet Office and industry.
