Job overview
Derbyshire Early Intervention Service is currently seeking a Senior Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist who is accredited to deliver high quality CBT to people experiencing a first episode of psychosis. This permanent position is ideally suited to someone who is enthusiastic about working with this client group and keen to support the development of other therapists across our service.
This post provides an opportunity to work within a county-wide, multidisciplinary service that has a strong ethos of hope and inclusivity. The service has a friendly and supportive team, including clinical psychologists and psychological therapists, who are committed to working flexibly and creatively with individuals and families in their recovery following a psychotic episode.
We have a strong focus on staff wellbeing, and actively support professional development and innovation. We have excellent opportunities for peer support across specialities, to join a range of specialist supervision groups, and to participate in a range of training opportunities.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities within the role include, but are not limited to:
4. To formulate, implement, and evaluate evidence-based interventions for individuals experiencing a first episode of psychosis and a range of complex problems.
5. To provide supervision to other CBT therapists working within the service.
6. To provide specialist advice, consultation, and training to other professionals in the service and across the Trust.
7. To support the evaluation and development of a high quality and responsive psychological therapy service
This post would suit an experienced BABCP accredited CBTp therapist, who has substantial experience of working with psychosis and of providing clinical supervision.
