The Role: We’re looking for a Sales Administrator to join the team in Letchworth Garden City. In this role you’ll work closely with our Marketing & Sales Manager and Operations Manager to support our valued international clients. You'll be the point of contact for accurately recording sales orders and following the process from order receipt to despatch of goods. The successful candidate will be dynamic and customer-focused with previous experience of working in a similar Sales Administration position. The hours are Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:30pm. Duties: Order entry Stock allocation Producing sales reports and summaries for the Sales and Management team Expected delivery date management, acknowledging client’s requests Pricing and stock availability enquiries Preparing quotations Sales invoicing and delivery notes for despatch Shipping & Logistics - organising daily freight collections, working with customers to book appropriate shipments and collections both international and domestic Keeping clients updated on their order status Loan order processing Building relationships with customers, general customer queries Supporting the sales team/account managers and colleagues Answering incoming telephone calls Other ad-hoc duties: Supporting with setting up meetings Occasional travel booking and local event support Assisting in other departments as required Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required: IT literacy in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel and Outlook An ability to work with large sets of data in Excel, knowledge of pivot tables would be an advantage, but can easily be trained Experience of using business management systems ideally e.g. Access Supply Chain, SAP, Oracle is preferred.
