Our client, a London based Investment Bank, are currently looking for an events coordinator to join their team on an initial 3 month fixed term contract, with the view of going permanent.
This role is 4 days onsite in London, paying up to £50,000.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and manage event vendors such as restaurants, hotels, meeting venues and caterers Partner with the Events Team Lead to finalize catering selections, attendee numbers and budget
* Work closely with cross‑functional teams on special events, pop‑ups and event‑related marketing
* Coordinate with the Corporate Communications team on internal and/or external event promotion
* Oversee production of printed materials including signage, name badges and place cards
* Serve as onsite contact for London based programs and events, including conducting site visits
* Manage scheduling for events and programs
* Handle post‑event tasks such as budget reconciliation and compiling feedback
* Support ad hoc events and projects as needed
Requirements:
* 2–3 years of prior experience in events within financial or professional services
* Strong proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet, Adobe PDF and Cvent
* Exceptional organizational skills and efficiency
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* Fast learner who is motivated and takes initiative
* Sound judgment and discretion when managing confidential or sensitive information
* Resourceful problem‑solver able to synthesize information to reach solutions
* Professional, polished demeanor
