About the Role
Proactive, self‑motivated sales professional with a "hunter" mentality and a proven track record in the dairy sector. Join a team dedicated to improving herd health on dairy farms worldwide. The role involves proactive, independent selling, treating your territory like your own business, and building your own customer base through cold calling and face‑to‑face farm visits. Provide expert advice, listen to farmers' pain points, and offer suitable solutions. Comprehensive onboarding and training are provided.
Responsibilities
* Proactively cover and grow your territory
* Identify and acquire new customers using a strong hunter mentality and closing skills
* Provide expert advice and support to potential customers, understanding their individual needs and challenges, and offering suitable solutions
* Meet activity KPIs and sales targets
* Effectively use the CRM system to manage customer contacts, sales activities, and market information
* Represent the company at trade shows and customer events
* Work closely with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience
* Contribute to a positive team culture through communication
Qualifications
* Proven track record in sales within the dairy sector or related industries, and knowledge of the dairy farming sector & associated technologies
Required Skills
* Excellent interpersonal and consultative skills
* Strong organisational skills and ability to effectively prioritise and manage your own time
* High self‑motivation, energy, and perseverance to achieve or exceed sales targets
* A broad network in the dairy industry that sees you as a trusted and competent partner
