What's involved with this role: Interim Social Worker x7 - Adults Reference no: Stoke on Trent 5246725 Pay rate: £24.02 per hour PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday to Friday, normal working hours This opening assignment is for 3 months City: STOKE ON TRENT, Staffordshire Enhanced DBS required for this role Social Workers, with a detailed understanding of Adults Safeguarding principles and best practice, are required to join the team. Applicants must be able to cover the whole geographic area of the city either by possession of a current and valid driving licence or by access to public or other transport. To manage a workload of people within statutory, legal and policy frameworks, professional standards (Social Work England) and practice standards. To work in partnership with people, families, and colleagues across the system to contribute to the delivery and development of the high-quality services provided by Adult Social Care. Discharge the relevant statutory duties and Council service objectives which relate to adult social care under the supervision, guidance, and direction of the relevant manager. Manage a workload appropriate to the primary function of the team, acting as the allocated practitioner or ‘lead professional’, where appropriate and undertake appropriate strengths-based assessments, and participate in multi-agency, multi-disciplinary working, whilst taking a person-centred approach.
