Role Title: SAS Viya QA Engineer

Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAS Viya QA Engineer to support testing activities for SAS Viya platform implementations. The role focuses on hands-on testing, automation, and data validation to ensure high-quality delivery of data analytics and reporting solutions.
Key responsibilities:
* Design and execute functional, integration, and data validation tests for SAS Viya applications
* Validate SAS components including:
* SAS Studio
* CAS (Cloud Analytic Services)
* Visual Analytics
* Model Manager
* Test data ingestion, transformation workflows, and reporting outputs
* Support validation of analytical models and scoring pipelines
* Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, and data validation)
* Use tools such as:
* Selenium/Playwright (UI automation)
* Postman/Rest Assured (API testing)
* SQL/Python for Back End validation
* Perform data integrity checks across SAS datasets and external systems
* Validate business logic, transformations, and aggregations
* Support performance and scalability testing for SAS Viya workloads
* Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps
* Collaborate with developers and data engineers to resolve issues
* Support test execution and reporting within Agile teams
* Hands-on experience with SAS Viya (3.x/4.x)
Experience with:
* Base SAS, PROC SQL
* Data processing and transformation workflows
* Strong SQL and data validation skills
* Experience with API testing and automation tools
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
