Job Description
3. Manage and oversee daily operations within the engineering and manufacturing department.
4. Ensure production targets are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
5. Coordinate and lead a team of staff to deliver operational excellence.
6. Monitor production processes and implement improvements where necessary.
7. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
8. Collaborate with other departments to optimise workflow and resolve issues.
9. Maintain detailed records and prepare regular performance reports.
10. Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Shift Manager should have:
11. Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
12. Strong leadership and team management skills.
13. Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
14. Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
15. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
16. Effective communication and organisational skills.
17. MUST have RTW in the UK
