We’re on the lookout for a talented Mechanical Supervisor to support the upgrade of the Wanlip Sewage Treatment Works as part of Severn Trent's AMP 8 programme. Your Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Supervisor, you’ll play a crucial role in our project delivery team, ensuring high-quality mechanical installations across the site. Your daily tasks will include:
* Coordinating on-site mechanical installations to meet specifications and quality standards.
* Building strong relationships with project engineers, subcontractors, and site teams for efficient work sequencing.
* Monitoring health, safety, and environmental compliance, fostering a culture of wellbeing.
* Interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications, providing guidance as needed.
* Conducting thorough site inspections and testing to ensure excellence before handover.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
* You hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services.
* You have experience supervising mechanical works in a relevant industry setting.
* You possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems like HVAC, pumping stations, and pipework.
* You’re passionate about maintaining health, safety, and quality standards on construction sites.
* You have a full driving licence and are open to working across various sites.
