Park Farm Medical Centre & Vernon StreetSurgery have a fantastic opportunity for a salaried GP to join ourteam. This is a 4 - 6 session per week position based across our two surgeries in Derby.
We are looking for a GP who is personable, hard-working, and passionate about good quality patient care.

Main duties of the job
As a Salaried GP, the successful candidate will managetheir own caseload. Dealing with a wide variety of health needs in a primarycare setting, they will work individually and as part of a team to ensure ahigh standard of care for all registered patients is met, as they carry out theassociated clinical and administrative duties.
You will manage patients face-to-face, over the telephone and via our online dashboard functionality. Core hours are 8:00am - 6:30pm, however, you will be required to work some Saturdays, and until 8:00pm some weekdays (as part of your contracted sessions) on a rotational basis with our other salaried GPs and GP Partners.

We offer a supportive andnurturing environment for our clinical team, which comprises of 6 GP Partners, 3 Salaried GPs,1 Nurse Practitioner, 5 Practice Nurses, and 1Healthcare Assistant, in addition to ARRS staff, including Pharmacists and SocialPrescribers.
Our clinical team is well supported by ourManagement, Admin and Reception Teams. We are a SystmOne Practice.
Our largest surgery is based at the Park FarmShopping centre in Allestree, with our branch surgery on Vernon Street, in theFriar Gate area of Derby. The practice has nearly 13,000 registered patientsacross the two sites.
Job responsibilities
As a Salaried GP, the successful candidate willmanage their own caseload. Dealing with a wide variety of health needs in aprimary care setting, they will work individually and as part of a team toensure a high standard of care for all registered patients is met, as theycarry out the associated clinical and administrative duties.
Perform clinical examinations of patients toassess, diagnose, treat and monitor conditions.
Carry out patient consultations at home and withinthe surgery.
Liaise with other healthcare professionals as partof multidisciplinary teams, such as nurses, pharmacists, social prescribers,care coordinators, midwifes, etc.

Qualifications
* GMC Registered, not subject to suspension.
* Currently on the performers list.
* Evidence of CPD
* Competence in coil insertion.
* Minor surgery skills.
