Payroll Administrator Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing employee payroll, ensuring accurate and timely payment, and maintaining payroll records. Key responsibilities include:
1. Calculating wages, handling deductions, and preparing tax reports
2. Addressing payroll inquiries from employees and external agencies
3. Managing end-to-end payroll processing for all employees
4. Maintaining accurate employee records, including tax codes, deductions, and pensions
5. Ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and filing RTI submissions
6. Processing statutory payments such as SSP, SMP, and pensions
7. Coordinating with HR and Finance departments to ensure payroll accuracy
8. Supporting the Finance team with payroll reporting and reconciliation
9. Assisting with ad-hoc payroll-related tasks and projects
