Your Role
- Mechanical & Electrical Repair: Carry out routine servicing, mechanical repairs, brake replacements, suspension work, and steering adjustments.
- Diagnostics: Use advanced fault-finding tools to identify, investigate, and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults.
- Servicing: Perform thorough bumper-to-bumper vehicle inspections and routine maintenance.
- MOT & Safety: If qualified, conduct Class 4 MOT tests and safety‑critical repairs to strict DVSA standards.
- Technical Quality: Maintain high-quality, "right first time" repair standards to keep our reputation flawless.
- Workshop Efficiency: Manage your daily workload efficiently while keeping a clean and safe garage environment.
What You Need
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent proven hands‑on experience).
- Technical Skill: Solid experience as a garage mechanic, with a strong understanding of modern vehicle systems and diagnostics.
- Certification: An MOT tester certificate is highly desirable but not essential.
- Licensing: A full, valid UK driving licence.
