Head of Products
The Head of Products is accountable for defining and leading the enterprise IT product management strategy across a broad portfolio of business‑critical systems. This role sets clear product visions and multi‑year roadmaps aligned to business priorities, ensuring technology investment delivers measurable value, operational efficiency, and long‑term capability.
The role has ownership of major enterprise platforms including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dayforce, operational management platforms, fleet and Whitespace solutions, and the integrations and enabling technologies that connect them. The Head of Products ensures these products are managed cohesively, with clear direction, strong governance, and consistent product management standards.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
* Define and lead the enterprise IT product management strategy across all assigned product domains.
* Establish clear product visions, strategic objectives, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities and operational goals.
* Translate strategic business objectives into prioritised product outcomes and measurable value delivery.
* Create consistent product management disciplines across all products, including roadmap management, backlog governance, value measurement, and lifecycle planning.
* Act as a key liaison between IT and business units, ensuring products supports operational needs.
* Ensure every product backlog is value driven and agreed with business stakeholders
* Lead and mentor IT product teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Negotiate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
Qualifications
* 7–10+ years in product management, product ownership, or technology leadership
* Proven ownership of enterprise‑scale products or platforms
* Experience driving strategy across multiple product teams or portfolios
* Ability to challenge and influence exec and director‑level stakeholders
* Experience managing expectations while protecting team focus and delivery integrity
* Deep understanding of Agile and product‑centric delivery models
* Experience transitioning from programme/project delivery to BAU product teams
* Experience owning large enterprise platforms (e.g. ERP, CRM, digital platforms) and exposure to Azure, Power Platform, integrations & data migration
* Experience with budget ownership and cost control
* Can create a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
