A client within the Public Sector based in Leicestershire is currently recruiting for a Compliance Services Manager to join their Landlord Services Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full-time, temporary position on an ongoing basis, with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a housing and compliance environment.The RoleKey purpose of the role is to lead, manage, and deliver the council’s planned maintenance, property improvements, and landlord compliance functions. This includes ensuring the safety of tenants and assets while meeting all relevant legislative and regulatory obligations.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Oversee compliance across housing stock, communal areas, and property improvement programmes.
* Deliver against the Decent Homes Standard and statutory health & safety obligations.
* Procure and manage maintenance contracts while monitoring budgets and performance.
* Act on stock condition data to deliver safe, energy-efficient, and well-maintained homes.
* Deputise for senior leadership and support strategic service delivery.
The CandidateTo be considered for this role you will require:
* A degree, HNC or equivalent in surveying, property maintenance, or construction.
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, or equivalent professional body.
* NEBOSH Health & Safety qualification (or equivalent).
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
* Strong knowledge of housing compliance legislation and risk management.
* Proven leadership and project management experience in the public sector.
* Contract and budget management expertise within a value for money framework.
