We’re looking for an experienced and inspiring kitchenprofessional to help shape the future of food in our managed house pubs.
As an Area Support Chef, you’ll play a vital role insupporting our pubs to deliver consistently brilliant food by championingquality, safety, team development, and operational excellence.
This is a hands on, field based role where you'll workclosely with kitchen teams and the wider operations team to ensure our pubshave the skills, confidence, and capability to deliver our food proposition tothe highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Carryout Food Quality & Kitchen Audits at least four times a year per site,producing detailed reports, action plans, and follow-ups using guestfeedback where relevant
* DeliverGP stock visits to support underperforming sites, offering practicalsolutions and finance planning where needed
* Partnerwith Operations Managers to embed a strong food culture and ensure teamsare trained, confident, and capable of delivering our managed house foodoffer
* Provideregular coaching, feedback, and support to Head Chefs and kitchen teams,acting as a trusted expert and motivator
* Leadexternal audit follow up visits for any site scoring below 80%, deliveringtargeted coaching to raise standards
* Hostand support Chef Skills Academy sessions including Steak School, FishSchool, and specialist skills days
* Playan active role in food shows and support the delivery of chef forumsthroughout the year
About You
* Aseasoned Head Chef from a managed pub background
* Strongunderstanding of food safety, kitchen audits, and GP management
* A confidentcoach and mentor with the ability to build trust and influence at alllevels
* Naturallycollaborative, with great communication and relationship building skills
* Passionateabout food and team development, with a sharp eye for quality andconsistency
* Organised,adaptable, and able to self motivate in a field based role
