Shipping Assistant - Supply Chain Function Location: East Grinstead Pay Rate: £13.46 per hour Shifts: Monday - Thursday 8.15am to 5pm, Friday 8.15am to 3pm We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipping Assistant to support the deliverables in the supply chain function at our East Grinstead site. The Shipping Assistant will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shipping processes, including handling shipping documentation, global trade compliance, customer invoicing, legalised documentation, delivery orders, cycle counting, proof of delivery management, and working closely with freight forwarders. Responsibilities: Manage and maintain shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to global trade compliance regulations, including import/export regulations, customs documentation, and licensing requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate the legalisation of necessary shipping documents, such as certificates of origin, commercial invoices, and other export-related paperwork.
