* To provide phlebotomy and Point of Care service within hospital clinics, patients own home, Nursing Homes and Satellite Hospitals.
* Administration and case load management.
* Maintaining high standard of care following trust values within clinics and the community.
* To support the administration staff and clinical nurse specialists with clinic administrative tasks.
* Help to assist CNS team in nurse led clinics
Anticoagulation experience is desirable but not essential, for the right candidate full Point of Care Training will be provided and a supernumerary period where you will work alongside an established member of the team.
The role is primarily based at QEHB and an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and HCA / Phlebotomist to join our team. Venepuncture training is essential as is the ability to work independently within the community to provide a first-class service to patients at home. This role encompasses providing a domiciliary service to patients and supporting the nursing team with the daily activities to maintain the smooth running of the anticoagulation service. You must have a full UK driving licence and be willing to working across sites and independently in the community. You will be required to work 5 shifts per week from 0800am to 1400pm Monday to Friday.
