A busy department and collaborative 'hands on' team, you will provide a pivotal role in the finance department within Purchase Ledger and carry out various tasks which includes:--Manually process, allocate and code supplier invoices to the correct cost centres -Keep supplier details in Xero updated and consistent across all records -Support the tracking, documentation, and registration of fixed asset purchases -Highlight and report any invoices or purchases that appear irregular or unauthorised -Support the wider team when required with Credit control and various tasks-Carry out general finance administrative duties as and when requiredWhat you'll need to succeed
* Must have solid, proven experience in purchase ledger roles
* Strong understanding of purchase order workflows and managing supplier interactions
* Demonstrates a proactive and self‑motivated attitude
* Knowledge of cost allocation methods and departmental budgeting practices
* High level of accuracy and precision when processing and coding financial data
* Background in project‑based environments with responsibility for tracking costs
* Experience with Xero is an advantage but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and colleagues
