Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer
Location: London (Field-Based Across Greater London)
Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)
We are currently working with a well-established fire and security solutions provider who is looking to add an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to play a key role in delivering first-class service and maintenance support across a variety of client sites in London.
About the Role:
As a Fire and Security Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding a wide range of systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control. The role covers both commercial and residential properties across Greater London.
Responsibilities:
1. Service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems
2. Diagnose and rectify faults quickly and effectively
3. Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
4. Ensure all work complies with relevant standards, including BS 5839
5. Maintain professional communication with clients on-site
6. Complete accurate job reports and service documentation
7. Adhere to company procedures and health & safety guidelines
Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Fire and Security Service Engineer
2. Strong knowledge of systems such as Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, Honeywell, or similar
3. Experience working with both fire and security systems is essential
4. Relevant qualifications (FIA, ECS/CSCS card)
5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
6. Full UK driving licence (essential)
