We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Officer to join our team based at our Head Office in Coventry. We're preparing to migrate to a powerful new Microsoft Dynamics platform, and we need a detail-driven Data Officer to ensure our housing and asset data is accurate, complete, and ready to go. In this pivotal role, you'll work with experts across the business to consolidate, cleanse, and correct core data — laying the foundation for smarter systems, better decisions, and outstanding service for our residents. As part of the core Connect Programme team, you'll take the lead on cleansing and validating our core resident, housing, and asset data. You'll assess existing data sources, create a robust cleansing plan, and work closely with subject matter experts and data owners to correct and maintain high-quality records. Your work will be critical in improving data integrity, driving operational efficiency, and supporting smarter decision-making across ExtraCare services. Location: Head office based at Coventry (with travel across all sites as required) Job type: 18 Months, Fixed Term Contract Hours per week: 37.5 hours Salary: £30,000 per annum You will: Work with other members of the Connect Programme team and data owners to agree a plan and approach to the data cleansing of historic data. Review and validate data with subject matter experts and data owners ensuring all information is accurate, consistent, and free of errors. Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicates, inconsistencies and errors in data between systems to ensure all data meets compliance and quality standards. Collaborate with other stakeholders to address data issues as needed. Assist in the migration of data between systems, ensuring proper data formatting and alignment with other platforms and databases in line with data standards. Prepare reports for the Programme Manager to update on progress of data cleansing and migration. Maintain detailed records of data-cleansing activities for auditing and reference purposes. Identify opportunities to streamline data cleansing processes, enhance data accuracy, and prevent future data errors.
