Biomedical Science Summer School with BioGrad Education
The Biomedical Science course is a 5‑day hands‑on programme for students aged 16–19 interested in laboratory science, biomedical science, and scientific research. Delivered in BioGrad’s Liverpool laboratories by experienced scientists, students gain practical experience in techniques including blood typing, microbiology, ELISA, PCR, bacterial culture, and microscopy.
Alongside the academic programme, students have opportunities to socialize, take part in evening activities, and build friendships with like‑minded students from the UK and around the world. The course is designed to help students develop confidence, independence, communication skills, and insight into future careers in science and healthcare. The programme can also be used as the Residential section of the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

Accommodation – Students stay in trusted accommodation in Liverpool, close to BioGrad’s training facilities.
Fees – £999 / 5 days. Accommodation fees can be added separately if required by the student.
