About us
1. The Insight Group Background
The Insight Group is a group of six companies with a head office based in Scarborough and an office and training centre in Solihull, looking after our clients and their property and business education needs.
The company is one of the top three property education companies in the UK and has previously built and sold, for seven figures, a lettings business, had the largest property sourcing business in the UK (sourced over 1,500 properties), and is now focused on building a much larger property and business education business.

With 40 members of the team, there are targets to double the business in the next three years.
The business owner, Aran Curry, has over 200 properties, bought over £5 million of property last year and is in the process of securing another 100 properties this year for his own portfolio, which is company run.
Aran educates over 100,000 people each year in how to invest in property.

2. Insight Education
We deliver brilliant training and content with outstanding client service that creates raving fans, changing lives through financial freedom.
Aran Curry (CEO), Frank Flegg, Nick James, Matt Elwell and Sarah Harkes deliver sought-after training live on stage and through online webinars to educate clients on many aspects of property investment, sales and business mastery.
The Education team are responsible for event coordination, online marketing, client service and administration. Our team has a complete and unified understanding of what we are trying to achieve as a business, and we have streamlined and efficient processes to support them to carry out their role to the best of their ability. We are not accepting of the status quo and always strive for improvement and change where necessary.
2. About the role

Role Title: Business Services Executive (Full-Time)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, inclusive of unpaid lunch break)
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
Reports to: Head of Business Services
Location: Solihull, with very occasional travel to Scarborough
A full UK driving licence and access to a car is required.

Summary of the Role
The Business Services Executive is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day office functions across both the Solihull and Scarborough locations. This role oversees facilities management, supports HR processes, and handles general administrative and operational requirements. By managing resources, office infrastructure, and people-related processes, the Business Services Executive plays a key part in fostering a productive, well-organized environment that directly contributes to both employee satisfaction and overall business efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Office & Facilities Management
Act as the first point of contact for office maintenance, repairs, and facilities issues
Liaise with landlords, contractors, and service providers
Oversee health & safety compliance, including fire safety checks, first aid equipment, and risk assessments
Coordinate office cleaning schedules and monitor service standards
Manage office supplies, kitchen stock, and equipment procurement
Maintain records of keys, access cards, alarms, and security systems
Manage post, deliveries, and inter-office logistics
Support meeting room setup, staff events, and visitor arrangements
Coordinate recycling, waste management, and environmental initiatives

HR Operations & Administration
Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Administer HR systems, trackers, and reporting metrics
Coordinate recruitment activity, including:
Candidate communication
Interview scheduling
Liaison with hiring managers
Support implementation and distribution of HR policies and employee communications
Coordinate benefits administration and compliance documentation
Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and recognition initiatives
Liaise with and coordinate tasks between the business and the Virtual HR Assistant
Ensure HR processes are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with internal procedures

General Administration & Coordination
Maintain supplier and contractor records
Track facilities and operational spend against budget
Identify cost-saving opportunities where appropriate
Act as a central liaison point for office- and people-related queries
Provide ad hoc administrative support for business services projects
Ensure continuity of office operations during peak periods or absences
Key Skills & Attributes
· Strong, confident communicator with the ability to manage expectations clearly and professionally
· Comfortable setting boundaries, applying processes consistently, and maintaining authority when required
· Able to handle sensitive or challenging conversations calmly, fairly, and with discretion
· Resilient and composed, with a practical and solutions-focused mindset
· Proactive self-starter who takes ownership and follows tasks through to completion
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and prioritisation skills
· Able to work independently while building effective working relationships across the business
· Professional, discreet, and trusted to handle confidential information
· Proven experience in office administration, facilities management, and operational support (essential)
· Previous experience in HR is desirable; however, training will be provided
